Giving Back With Heart

At Jude & Jo Jo, we believe a business can be about more than what it sells. From the beginning, we wanted our boutique to be a place where women could find pieces that help them feel confident while also allowing us to give back to causes close to our hearts.

As a mother-daughter business rooted in rural life, horses, animals, family, and community are a big part of who we are. Giving back is our way of carrying those values beyond our boutique and doing a little good along the way.

 

Shopping With Purpose

A portion of every purchase at Jude & Jo Jo is given back to nonprofit organizations whose missions reflect the things that matter deeply to us.

We are proud to support two organizations doing very different, but equally meaningful, work: Helping Our Miniature Equines (HOME) and Silver Buckle Youth Equestrian Center.

​

One gives miniature horses and donkeys in need a second chance. The other uses the connection between horses and young people to help build confidence, responsibility, compassion, and important life skills.

​

Together, they represent something we believe strongly in — caring for those who need someone in their corner and helping create a stronger future for the generation coming behind us.

Helping Our Miniature Equines (HOME)

Our relationship with Helping Our Miniature Equines is deeply personal.

​

HOME's mission became part of our own family's story when Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff — our Disney Trio — came to live with us at Jackson Ridge Acres.

​

Through HOME, miniature horses and donkeys in need are given the opportunity for safety, rehabilitation, care, and brighter futures. Their work, and our own experience with the Disney Trio, helped inspire the giveback mission that became part of Jude & Jo Jo from the beginning.

Silver Buckle Youth Equestrian Center

Silver Buckle Youth Equestrian Center represents another part of what matters to us — encouraging the generation coming behind us.

​

Through experiences with horses, Silver Buckle helps young people develop confidence, responsibility, trust, compassion, and other skills that reach far beyond the barn.

​

Jude & Jo Jo was built around women supporting women and helping women feel confident in who they are. There is something especially meaningful to us about being able to extend that spirit by supporting an organization helping young people discover confidence in themselves.
