Jude and Jo Jo: A Mother-Daughter Dream

Jude and Jo Jo started with an idea—and a whole lot of heart. We’re a mother-daughter duo (Judy, aka Jude, and Stephanie, aka JoJo) with a deep love for farm life, animals, and the Cowgirl Country Chic lifestyle. Together, with our family, we dreamed of creating something that reflected our roots and celebrated the women we admire.

But Jude and Jo Jo isn’t just about us—it’s about YOU. We’re here to build a community of women who inspire each other, support small businesses, and live lives full of grit, grace, and style.

Rooted in Farm Life

For us, everything starts with the farm. Growing up, Judy was surrounded by the rhythms of farm life, and I (Stephanie) spent my childhood immersed in that same world. The smell of hay, the sound of hooves on the ground—it’s just a part of who we are.

Years later, our family came together to start Jackson Ridge Acres, a small hobby farm in southwest Washington. These days, you’ll find us caring for miniature horses, donkeys, goats, and even miniature cows. Some of them are rescues, all of them are loved, and they inspire us every single day.

Spending time in the barn—feeding animals, tackling chores, and just soaking in the beauty of farm life—is where the idea for Jude and Jo Jo really took shape. We wanted clothes and accessories that worked as hard as we do. Something practical but stylish, pieces we could wear in the barn and still feel great in at dinner. That’s where Cowgirl Country Chic came to life.

Why We Started Jude and Jo Jo

We started Jude and Jo Jo because we wanted more than just a boutique. We wanted to create a space that celebrates women like us—women who juggle a thousand roles every day and need their wardrobes to keep up.

And more than that, we wanted this to be about something bigger. Every purchase at Jude and Jo Jo helps support Helping Our Miniature Equines (HOME), a rescue that provides care for animals with special needs. Animals like Maggie, Napoleon, and Oakley remind us why this mission is so close to our hearts.
